La Selva Agriturismo
We are at the farmhouse. La Selva raises horses for the Palio, but its main source of income is from tourism. It’s lovely!

This is the entrance to one of our rooms.

12th c. farmhouse is now the reception and breakfast area for the complex.

It’s the least she could do since you have to maintain the fort, right?
my dear, dear friend at Delta is Fran Hale. She is a language flight attendant and emigrated from Italy when she was 13. Take a good look on my FB page and if she is on your flight be SURE to say hello and tell her you are a friend of Jan’s She knows me as Ahern, but we are good friends so even just Jan will do. I hope you are going to have a wonderful time and I’ll look forward to the photos here. <3
I’m flying on Lufthansa DEN to Frankfurt, but will look for her anyway!
I am in Madrid… wish you could visit or we could meet up. Alas, I suspect your trip is all planned, so next time please! I look forward to reading of your adventures! Go eat, laugh, be awed, and enjoy It All!
We will be just outside of Siena at a farmhouse… just a train ride away from Spain. wink wink..
If you decide to go to Spain, go to Seville. I’m on the ferry from Nova Scotia to St John, New Brunswick and heading home from there. I got all my business done in a week, instead of the weeks I’d planned. Bon Voyage!
Buon giorno, Stormy! Will look forward to the posts.
Con affetto,
Beth

Safe travels, Stormy!! Italy is on my future travel list. I was there 40+ years ago while in college. I think I might view it with different eyes this time! Have fun.

This is very exciting. Jayme and I were there a few years ago and had a private tour of the Vatican, will have to tell you about those adventures some time. Enjoy, eat well, and I guess you better bring wine back for Shane!
Ah, that answers my question that I posted on FB and was pretty sure you’d never see. Glad you are doing a girls vacation to such a lovely area. Looking forward to the pictures. Keep your fingers crossed; someday soon I will be able to do this too.
