Nepal Travels 2012 (week 1)

This summer I was lucky enough to teach a course in the Khumbu region of Nepal with Barbara Brower. We flew into Kathmandu on June 8 and stayed at the Shechen Guest House for a few days before flying to Lukla. The Guest House is run by the Shechen Monastery and is very close to the Boudhanath Stupa. From Lukla we hiked to Namche Bazaar. Here are a few photos from the first few days.

    It’s good to see the pictures go up. Yay! Was the sticker from one of the CC students?

      Yes, the students carried stickers and gave them to all the kids. They were a big hit.

      Lowlands seems to be lands below about 11,000 ft. Glad you enjoyed the photos.
