Travel to Rome
So we arrived in Rome after some more train adventures. We were supposed to arrive at 2:00 pm and got here at 6:45pm. The sign for Hotel Adler was a welcome sight. Here is the only picture I took today:

The train schedule looks unbelievably challenging. Sleep well and then go enjoy Rome!
Actually, this shot saved my sanity. Our problem was that our ticket said train 2468 Assisi to Rome at 11:26am. This train actually went to Florence but we didn’t know it until we were almost there. Ugh! So then we had to figure out how to get to Rome — and luckily, with help, we did it. So it was a set back, but not a disaster. We carefully watched as each village and town went by our window and we checked it off the list…
